Management in Practice promotes best practice in practice management and provides expert comment on and analysis of the many and complex issues now facing practice managers. This family of products under the Management in Practice brand includes magazines, online community, conferences, awards and exhibitions.

Management in Practice is the first journal specifically designed to address directly the ever-expanding role and responsibilities of today's primary care general practice manager. Management in Practice is endorsed by the Royal College of General Practitioners – reflecting the College's avowed interest in meeting the needs of practice managers as they work closely in association with the College's GP members – and AMSPAR, the Association of Medical Secretaries, Practice Managers, Administrators and Receptionists.

Management in Practice magazine is available free to qualifying primary care general practice managers.

managementinpractice.com is a free online service designed to complement Management in Practice magazine. Visitors to the site can get daily news online or delivered direct to their inbox by email each week. In addition to news there is also a complete archive of all past issues of Management in Practice magazine, regular ‘Personal Practice’ blogs, readers’ feedback comments and many other features, including videos and slide presentations from our latest events.

Management in Practice Events are national annual conferences for practice managers, GPs and everyone involved in primary care business management. The events reach across three cities – London, Birmingham and Manchester – covering issues that impact on the management of primary care practices, including commissioning, legislation, IM&T, HR, finance and more. These educational conferences are recognised by the Institute of Healthcare Management (IHM) and supported by the Royal College of GPs, the Family Doctor Association and the NHS Alliance.
